Adam
Adam is your average everyday working man in his mid 20's living in the far off dystopian future of 2035. Like most denizens of the 2030's he's grown complacent with reliance on technology, but when a glitch at the DMV requires a human touch to clear up he soon finds himself in an uphill struggle with the robots running the show to renew his license.
The Director
A well off middle aged man tired and run down from a lifetime of work climbing the corporate ladder at the DMV. Starting out as a simple clerk with horrible hours and having to deal with angry customers all day long motivated him to move quickly through the ranks. Through the decades he watched his colleagues be replaced by machines. Perhaps this is why he's so willing to help the customers who seek him out. A return to good ol' days.
